Legalizing Illegality – The Problem with Granting Drivers Licenses to Non-Citizens

I heard today that Illinois is considering allowing illegal aliens to get a driver’s license.  This infuriates me.   Before any of you get off on a high and mighty holier than Tim Teague attitude – let me comment – please.

I am not a racist.  I am a protectionist.  I believe the rights of every American citizen should be protected – period.  Our rights as citizens is slowly slipping away while the rights of “illegals” are gaining ground.  Something is wrong with this picture.  Politicians are more interested in gaining the votes of specific ethnic groups more than they are keeping a sense of purity in laws that protect American citizens.  Every politician who votes for legalizing drivers licenses or is offended when we have to present identification to vote should be be sent back home – defrocked of their political offices.

What is there about the term “illegal” that is so hard to understand? What is so difficult for whom we’re told are some of the most intelligent people we have in our government – our law makers – about the “illegal” to understand?   I don’t get it.

When we legally allow “illegal” aliens to pursue what the average American citizen has pursued the correct, difficult and sometimes challenging way – we are demoralizing the American citizen.  We are weakening the status of the term American citizen by legalizing illegality.

Let me say that if I were an “illegal” anything – do you think the court systems would give me – an American citizen – a break?  I don’t think so.   There are millions of American citizens who have processed themselves into the United States of American the right way…the legal way.   They come to the land of opportunity and freedom to pursue their dreams and ambitions just like any other “legal” citizen.   Their prosperity is founded on truth – legal truth.  When illegals are hired, licensed, and allowed to vote – we have demoralized the status of the American citizen.  How dare our politicians demoralize America for the sake of a few votes.  It sickens my stomach to think about it.

What will it take to wake up America?  What will it take to send a message to our politicians that we want a moral America?  Obviously the evangelical’s don’t get it.  Their pomp and pious attitudes that present themselves as self-righteous in the sight of the God they claim to serve didn’t work because they sat back on their back sides and refused to vote.  They can cry and scream all they want about the shape the county is in but they are religious bigots and hypocrites.  They are white washed tombs.   No more evangelicals voted in the 2012 election than did in the 2008 election.  Go figure.

Maybe there are venues of evangelical’s that need to buy stock in Kleenex so their whining and moaning will at least benefit some of them.

We are sending the wrong message to American citizens.  When we legalize illegality we are condoning breaking the law.  How stupid can we be?  How stupid can our politicians be?   When illegal aliens break the law – how do we tell them they have done so?  Law?  What is law?  When an illegal alien drives drunk and kills another human being – more than likely a citizen – how to you tell him he broke the law?  Law?  What law?  We legalized his being here illegally and now we are going to charge him with breaking the law?  We are sending asinine messages to this nation about what is legal and illegal.

Get a life people.  Someone once said the definition of a politic is from two words.  Poly which means many and “tick” which means blood sucker.  You figure it out.  Or you can call someone in political office who doesn’t know the difference in the terms “legal” and “illegal.”  Maybe they can help you since they’re in the helping “illegal citizens” business.

  1. Amen Pastor, I am ashamed that once agin it seems that the “christians” are more willing to just put up with what is going on and complain later than doing thier civic duty. I am a proud American. I did vote and my “guy” did not win. All I can do know is praise God and know he has a plan. Happy Thaksgiving and God bless
